TANESHA is among the most influential figures in South America's ballroom scene. She is born in Juiz de Fora, Brazil, and lives in São Paulo. Her artistic practice is a blend of performance, movement, and voice, and as founder mother of Kiki House of Cabal and the South American Mother of House of Basquiat, she has played a pivotal role in defining the ballroom scene across the continent. The Intensive Kunty Class offers an opportunity to sneak a peek into her artistic practice.

Crowned “South America Queen” by ballroom legend Kevin JZ Prodigy, TANESHA is considered one of the most important femme queen performers of her generation. She has performed on international stages and worked with artists such as Pabllo Vittar, Gloria Groove, and Lia Clark. During Beyoncé’s visit to Brazil, TANESHA appeared as special guest, and now she’s coming to the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz.
