Delfi, the magazine for new literature, has always focused on the written word. For our seventh issue, however, we are turning our attention to a number. Why? Because once the number seven crosses our minds, it's suddenly everywhere. Whether in fairy tales, music, the deadly sins, or Dragon Ball: no other number is so full of meaning and charged with symbolism than the number seven. To mark the release of the seventh issue, the Delfi editors Fatma Aydemir, Enrico Ippolito, Hengameh Yaghoobifarah and Miryam Schellbach are hosting a reading and discussion event featuring three authors from the current issue. Topics include seven years of love, Snow White’s strange flat-share, and sifting (which translates as Sieben [seven] in German).
